Take a moment each month to pause and create. Write a poem of up to 16 lines on the theme, weaving in the four chosen words. Every poem is published anonymously, alongside one secretly written by AI.
When voting opens, you’ll see poems from around the world. Read, enjoy, vote for your favourite — and try to spot the AI impostor.

Required Wordle words
How it works
- On the 1st of each month, we publish a theme and four Wordle words from the previous month.
- You write a poem (16 lines) that uses all four words. Handwritten drafts welcome.
- Submit your poem (Days 1–7). Submitting unlocks the gallery & voting the following week.
- Read the entries (Days 8–14), vote for your favourite, and guess which poem was written by AI.
- On the 15th, we reveal the winning poem and the secret AI poem, plus fun stats.
Optional: 60-minute draft challenge.
Set a timer and write your poem within an hour for a “Flash Poet” badge. Totally optional.
Rules
- Length: 16 lines. Any style: free verse, rhymed, short forms, prose-poetry.
- Required words: use all four Wordle words exactly as spelled (plural/tense/possessive allowed).
- Theme: your poem should clearly relate to the monthly theme.
- Anonymity: submissions are anonymous during voting. Pen names welcome.
- Eligibility: by submitting, you unlock access to read & vote that month.
- Fair play: write your own poem; don’t use AI to generate it.
